Meet Michael Blackstone
Michael Blackstone is a traditional country singer & real cowboy known for high-energy shows that keep crowds dancing. He launched his music career in 1995 & from 1997–2007, averaged 200 live shows a year—playing countless bars & honky-tonks before moving on to larger venues. Influenced by legends like George Strait, Alan Jackson, Mark Chesnutt & Garth Brooks, Michael stays true to his roots as a lead singer who also plays rhythm guitar & harmonica.
He opened on the “Mossy Oak” tour & headlined the “Shades of Summer” tour in 2005. After losing his mother to breast cancer in 2013, he created the “Real Men Wear Pink” project & continues to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month each October. He took a short semi-retirement in 2013, then returned in 2017 with “He’s Back!”, blending his live show experience with modern digital media.
Beyond music, Michael is a nationally recognized horse trainer. He invented the “World Famous Bitless Bridle” in 2000 & hosted an early RFD-TV horse training show that ran 23 weeks to millions of viewers. The Blackstones operated a large riding stable for years & Michael favors quarter horses.
Michael built his career the old-fashioned way—live shows, hard work & connecting with crowds. He's growing his digital presence & invites fans to follow & interact with him online, promising engagement without label interference.
